SiteJobs is operated by SiteJobs Ltd (Company No. 17288618), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Unit 29 Highcroft Industrial Estate, Enterprise Road, Horndean, Waterlooville, Hants, PO8 0BT. We introduce work-seekers (workers) to hirers (employers) in the construction industry. Workers register for free. Employers pay a subscription to browse and contact workers directly.
SiteJobs complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. We do not charge workers any fees for finding or seeking work, as prohibited by Regulation 11.
⚠️ Never use SiteJobs while working on site. Your safety comes first. Use it only on your break. Using a phone while working on a construction site is dangerous and may breach site rules and health and safety law. SiteJobs must only be used during rest breaks, before or after shifts, or off site. Employers and workers must comply with all site safety rules at all times.
Workers register free. You provide your name, phone, email, postcode, trade, and availability. Your profile is visible to verified employers. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information.
No fees to workers: In accordance with the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct Regulations 2003, SiteJobs does not charge workers any fee for finding or seeking work, or for providing work-finding services. Our services to workers are entirely free.
Identity verification: In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Conduct Regulations 2003, SiteJobs verifies the identity of work-seekers through email verification and phone number validation. Employers are responsible for conducting their own identity checks before engagement.
Employers must provide a valid Companies House number. We verify this number against the UK Companies House API at registration to confirm the company exists and is active. The company name must match Companies House records. Sole traders are not accepted. Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — your account remains fully active until then. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
Employer identity verification: In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Conduct Regulations 2003, SiteJobs verifies hirers by confirming their Companies House registration and status. We do not accept sole traders or unregistered businesses.
Employers can try SiteJobs free for 30 days. No payment card is required to start the trial.
What's included:
Upgrading: You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time during the trial. Upgrading gives you immediate access to phone numbers, unlimited job posts, and all features of your chosen plan.
After expiry: When the 30 days end, job posting and worker search are locked. You can still log in and manage your account settings. Choose a paid plan to continue using SiteJobs.
One trial per company: The 30 Days Free trial is available once per company. If you have already used a trial with your Companies House number, you will need to choose a paid plan instead.
To maintain the security and integrity of our platform, SiteJobs.co.uk reserves the right to verify employer accounts at any time. Verification may include confirming your registration with an authorised representative of your company. Accounts that cannot be verified within 48 hours of request may be suspended or removed.
SiteJobs integrates with TrustDPV, a third-party trust verification service. Workers and employers may link their TrustDPV profile to their SiteJobs account. When you do, we verify your TrustDPV username exists and cache your trust score and verification status. This information is displayed on your profile and in search results. You may remove your TrustDPV link at any time. TrustDPV is operated independently by TrustDPV Ltd. SiteJobs is not responsible for the accuracy or availability of TrustDPV data.
We use the UK Companies House API to verify employer registrations. When you register as an employer, we check that your Companies House number exists, that the company is active, and that the company name matches. We do not store your Companies House data beyond the number and name you provide. The verification status (Companies House verified) is displayed on employer profiles and job listings.
SiteJobs facilitates direct contact between workers and employers. We are not a party to any employment relationship. We do not employ, vet, or guarantee any worker or employer.
Workers self-declare their tickets and certifications. In accordance with Regulation 21 of the Conduct Regulations 2003, it is the employer's responsibility to verify workers' tickets and qualifications before engagement. SiteJobs does not verify tickets or qualifications.
Workers may self-declare that they have the Right to Work in the UK by ticking a checkbox on their profile. This is a self-declaration only — it is not verification. SiteJobs does not verify, check, or confirm any worker's Right to Work status.
Workers who have not declared their Right to Work will not appear in employer search results and will not be able to search or apply for jobs on SiteJobs. This is a platform requirement, not a legal verification. Declaring Right to Work does not constitute proof — it simply means the worker has ticked a box confirming they have the right to work in the UK.
SiteJobs does not store workers' share codes or dates of birth. These are sensitive personal data that must be shared directly between the worker and employer. Employers who need to verify a worker's Right to Work must obtain the share code and date of birth directly from the worker and use the official HM Government verification service at gov.uk/prove-right-to-work.
It is the employer's sole legal responsibility to conduct Right to Work checks in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 and the Immigration (Restriction on Employment) Order 2007. SiteJobs accepts no liability for any failure by an employer to conduct such checks, or for any inaccuracy in a worker's self-declaration.
By registering as a worker, you agree that the following information from your profile will be visible to employers on SiteJobs:
What is NOT shared on SiteJobs:
After contact: Once a worker and employer have made contact through SiteJobs, any further sharing of personal information (including share codes, dates of birth, full names, addresses, or any other data) is entirely between those two parties. SiteJobs is not a party to any off-platform communication and accepts no responsibility for how either party uses or protects information shared after initial contact.
Workers are under no obligation to provide their share code or date of birth to any employer. However, employers are legally required to verify a worker's Right to Work before employment begins. A worker's refusal to provide verification may affect an employer's decision to proceed.
SiteJobs includes a GPS Site Attendance feature that allows workers to check in and check out on site using their phone's GPS location. This feature is available to employers with an active subscription and to workers approved by their employer.
Workers: By using the check-in feature, you consent to your GPS location being captured at the time of check-in and check-out. Your location coordinates are stored securely and are visible only to your employer on the attendance dashboard. SiteJobs does not track your location continuously. GPS is only captured at the moment you tap Check In or Check Out. You may decline to share your location and still check in, but your employer will see no distance recorded.
Employers: You are responsible for configuring your site locations, distance settings, break policy, and start time. Attendance data, including hours worked and GPS distances, is available for export in CSV and PDF format for payroll and record-keeping. Check-in records are permanent and cannot be deleted by employers or workers. Suspending a worker prevents future check-ins but preserves all historical data.
Data retention: Check-in and check-out records are retained indefinitely as they constitute attendance and payroll records. Workers and employers should retain their own copies of exported timesheets. SiteJobs is not liable for any disputes arising from attendance data.
No guarantee of accuracy: GPS accuracy depends on the worker's device, signal, and environment. SiteJobs cannot guarantee that GPS distances will be perfectly accurate. Distance measurements are indicative only and should not be the sole basis for any employment decision.
SiteJobs offers deals and partner offers to registered workers through the Deals feature in your account. Deals may include discounts, cashback, or special offers from third-party providers. Deals are displayed for your convenience only. SiteJobs does not endorse, guarantee, or accept responsibility for any third-party deal, product, or service. Any purchase or engagement with a deal provider is entirely between you and the provider. SiteJobs may receive a referral fee from deal providers. Deal availability and terms are set by the provider and may change without notice.
The Board is a rate-sharing feature available to registered workers. You can log your daily rate (hourly or day rate) and trade. The Board calculates market medians from active job listings on SiteJobs, trimmed to remove outliers, and displays them by trade and postcode area. Your daily entry generates a shareable digital card (PNG image) showing your rate, trade, and all-time rank within your trade. The card includes a digital hard hat badge coloured according to your rate relative to the market median: white (below median), yellow (within median), or gold (above median). The card includes a digital trophy displaying your all-time rank. These are digital badges on a downloadable image only. SiteJobs does not offer physical hard hats, physical cards, or physical trophies. Market medians are estimates based on listed rates and may not reflect actual pay rates in your area. SiteJobs does not verify, guarantee, or endorse any rate entered by workers. Rate data is aggregated and anonymised in median calculations. Your individual rate is visible only to you in your account. By logging a rate, you consent to your rate being included in aggregate median calculations.
Share a Site is a community map of construction sites reviewed by the people working on them. Registered workers and employers can add sites, vote on site facilities, and report incorrect information.
Adding and confirming sites. You must be physically on site to add or confirm a site. Your GPS location is checked at the moment you add or confirm a site (within 150 metres) and is not used again. SiteJobs does not track your location continuously. Sites added by workers appear unconfirmed until a second person on site confirms them. Sites added by employers go live immediately. Site names must be genuine site names in English. Joke, offensive, or misleading site names are removed.
Votes. Votes reflect the genuine opinions of registered users about facilities such as the canteen, welfare, parking, security, and site administration. Votes are opinions, not statements of fact. SiteJobs does not verify vote outcomes and is not responsible for them. Vote manipulation, coordinated voting, or purchased votes may result in account suspension.
Main contractor information. The main contractor shown on a site is entered by users and is not an official record. Entries not matching SiteJobs' verified list are marked as unconfirmed. If you believe a main contractor attribution is wrong, use the report function.
Reporting. Every site has a report button. Reports are reviewed by SiteJobs. We may edit or remove site names, contractor attributions, or votes at our sole discretion following a report. The reporting function must not be abused; deliberately false or malicious reports may result in account suspension.
In accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and Regulation 34 of the Conduct Regulations 2003, SiteJobs does not discriminate on the grounds of age, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity. All workers and employers have equal access to the platform regardless of protected characteristics. We do not permit users to specify discriminatory requirements in job listings or profiles.
SiteJobs is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in any part of our business or supply chain. We expect all employers using our platform to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 where applicable. Any worker or employer who suspects modern slavery or forced labour should report it to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700 or to the police.

You are solely responsible for all information you submit to SiteJobs. You must ensure that any information you provide is true, accurate, up-to-date, and not misleading. You must not submit content that is discriminatory, defamatory, offensive, obscene, or otherwise illegal, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any person.
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.
Registered workers may vote on job listings (approve or disapprove) and report listings they believe to be inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise concerning. Votes are aggregated and displayed publicly on the listing. Reports are confidential and reviewed by SiteJobs.
When a job is reported, SiteJobs may investigate the listing and take appropriate action, including removal of the listing, suspension of the employer account, or referral to relevant authorities where illegal activity is suspected. SiteJobs reserves sole discretion over any action taken following a report.
The reporting function must not be abused. Malicious, repeated, or deliberately false reports may result in suspension of the reporter's account. Votes must reflect genuine opinion and must not be manipulated, coordinated, or purchased.

Employer subscriptions are business-to-business (B2B) contracts between the employer's company and SiteJobs Ltd. Both parties are acting in the course of their business.
Cancellation: Employers may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. The account remains fully active, with access to all features of the subscribed plan, until the end of the period already paid for.
No refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds are issued for cancelled subscriptions, including partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access until the end of that period, but no refund is given for the remaining days.
No cooling-off period: As B2B contracts, employer subscriptions are not subject to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the consumer 14-day cooling-off period. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply to these subscriptions.
Plan changes: Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged at the new rate from the next billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for downgrades.
Billing disputes: If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us through the contact form within 14 days of the charge. Refunds for billing errors are issued at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to accounts that violate these terms, accounts that are inactive for an extended period, or accounts that pose a risk to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us through the contact form. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from search results. Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
